Yesterday the 2021 Christian Writers Market Guide arrived in my mail and it reminded me of something that happened a while ago.
For many years that book was compiled by Sally Stuart and, because it was shorter than the title, I just called the book by her name.
One day I couldn’t find it and frantically looked all over my office.
At last I did find it and was so delighted I ran to my husband, who was watching TV in the family room, and called out, “I found Sally Stuart under my desk!”
Thinking I was referring to a person he was shocked and horrified until I explained it was a book.
I still laugh when I think of that.
